The Weaving
Group is a unique organisation in textiles. It exists to serve the
interests of its members and the industries in which they work.
The Weaving
Group has corporate and individual members. The membership covers
all disciplines in weaving and other associated industries.
Within
the weaving and associated industries the aim of The Weaving Group
is to facilitate learning and to disseminate information.
In pursuit
of this aim The Weaving Group engages in the following activities:
If
it is technical, topical or innovative, then we can update your
knowledge if you are a member of The Weaving Group.
The Weaving
Group works closely with weavers, machine makers, universities and
other associated industries to update your knowledge. It encourages
open discussion, both formal and informal, in the exchange of information
at all its events.
In an
ever contracting industry, whether weaving the finest natural fibres
or synthetics, The Weaving Group is the only organisation to bring
us together.
The commitment
of The Weaving Group’s Management and Executive committees
is to provide the growing membership with excellent service, good
value and democratic participation in an organisation that is totally
dedicated to textiles and in particular the weaving sector.
